 § Peter Swan, David Roil, Robert Anderson, and David Bull were in the 1955 Class
 ± Denys Sumner and Haddon Speakman were selected to play for the Wellington Primary Schools Rugby Team. Denys was the Vice Captain.
 ¤ Jon Parson later represented Canterbury at Rugby.
 ¶ Grahame Pohlen represented Otago, Southland, Wellington, Auckland, and the King Country at Rugby. He also played for the South Island and the North Island in the annual interisland rugby matches. He was an Allblack Trialist. Finally, he locked the King County scrum with Colin Meads who was voted the greatest Allblack in the 20th. Century, and when playing for Otago against South Africa was marked by Frik du Preez, who was voted the greatest Springbok in the 20th. Century.
